In 2006, we were looking for some nice animals for our pasture at our poultry farm in Limburg. We first saw alpacas in the Australian TV series McLeod’s Daughters. Charmed by this funny animal, it soon became clear that this would become our new hobby! What beautiful, sweet animals! After the first three alpacas, more quickly followed. Our first alpacas were beige and brown, but from the moment the first black cria was born, we knew for sure, black is the colour we wanted to breed. To improve the quality of our alpacas, we broadened our horizons and ended up in England. There we found the best breeder who specializes in black alpacas. We decided to collaborate with Inca Alpaca to integrate the best bloodlines into our herd. The goal is to breed beautiful black alpacas with a good build and the right proportions and a high-quality fleece. The fact that the collaboration has been successful is evident from the fact that 95% of our herd is black in colour and of exceptional quality.
We have a wonderful group of black females and elite herd sires at our disposal, capable of producing beautiful, high-quality, and excellent offspring.
Our goal is to breed an elite group of alpacas from the best black bloodlines in Australia and England. We also attend shows, and the results speak for themselves. Keeping and caring for alpacas is a very rewarding process. What began as a hobby has grown into our primary industry, proving that investing in alpacas is worthwhile. After all, nothing is more rewarding than turning your hobby into a career. The love and enjoyment of working with alpacas will always come first. Through the sale of quality stock, we have built a strong customer base who share our enthusiasm for alpacas.
As the proud owners of Alpaca Farm Tienda Molino, we want to share our knowledge and love for alpacas with potential breeders, with the goal of successfully growing this new agricultural industry. If we have aroused your interest, please contact us or visit our farm.
